We restored this Honda CB360 fuel tank starting from bare metal. The tank was stripped, metal-finished, and completed with bodywork to straighten the original lines and clean up years of wear. An epoxy primer was applied for long-term corrosion resistance before moving into color.
The tank was finished in a rich Honda red basecoat. All graphics were hand-masked and painted—not decals—so the striping and black panels sit under the clear with crisp edges and proper depth. The finish was sealed in high-quality automotive 2K clearcoat, then wet sanded and polished to a mirror gloss.
Original Honda tank badges were restored and reinstalled to keep the factory character intact. We also fitted a new petcock and a reproduction chrome tank cap to complete the package. The result is a CB360 tank that looks period-correct but carries the durability of a modern paint system.
