As part of a full exterior remodel of a two-family brick home in South St. Louis, we fabricated and installed custom steel railings for the new front porch platform and concrete stairs.
The design draws from the proportions and rhythm of traditional wrought iron railings, but with cleaner lines and a slightly more modern presence. Fabricated from steel and powder coated in a durable satin black finish, the railings provide both safety and architectural definition. Each section was built to fit the new concrete precisely, installed on site, and finished to complement the scale and character of the historic brick facade.
